Crossing the Threshold
A 12-Week Somatic Journey Through Life Transition
There comes a moment when the life you built no longer fits the woman you are becoming.
Maybe nothing looks dramatically wrong from the outside.
You’re functioning.
You’re showing up.
You’re caring for everyone.
You’re doing what you’re supposed to do.
And yet, somewhere deep inside, you know:
Something is ending.
An identity.
A relationship with yourself.
A career.
A season of motherhood.
A dream.
A way of living that once kept you safe but now feels too small.
You can feel the old life loosening beneath your feet—but you haven't quite found the ground beneath the new one.
This is the threshold.
And thresholds are strange places.
They ask us to leave before we know exactly where we're going.
-
It begins with a whisper.
A restlessness.
A longing.
A body that says enough.
A quiet knowing that you cannot keep becoming smaller to remain comfortable in a life you've already outgrown. The Call isn't always dramatic.
Sometimes it's simply the moment you realize:
I don't want to live like this anymore.
-
Then comes the part no one puts on the vision board.
The grief.
The uncertainty.
The fear of disappointing people.
The grief for who you were.
The grief for what you thought your life would become. The Descent asks you to stop rushing toward the next version of yourself long enough to feel what you're leaving behind.
Here, we don't pathologize your grief or try to positive-think our way through it.
We listen.
We breathe.
We let the body tell the truth.
-
When you enter the dark, you don't need someone to tell you where to go.
You need a light.
The Lantern is the return to your body.
Through trauma-informed somatic coaching, breathwork, nervous-system education, and embodied awareness, you begin to recognize the difference between intuition and fear, activation and alignment, collapse and rest.
You learn how to stay with yourself when life feels uncertain.
Not by controlling your nervous system.
But by building a deeper relationship with it.
-
Eventually, there comes a moment when standing at the threshold is no longer enough.
You choose.
You release what is no longer yours to carry.
You begin making decisions from the woman you're becoming rather than the version of you who learned how to survive.
You reclaim your boundaries.
Your voice.
Your desire.
Your agency.
Your wild, innate knowing.
You cross.
Not because you're fearless.
But because you trust yourself enough to move with the fear.
-
And then you return to your life.
But you return differently.
More embodied.
More discerning.
More alive. You stop asking, Who am I supposed to be?
And begin asking:
What is true for me now?
This is not about becoming someone new.
It is about returning to the woman who was there underneath the survival, the expectations, the roles, and the stories you inherited.
The woman who knows.
The woman who feels.
The woman who chooses.
The woman who is finally willing to take up space in her own life.
This is Crossing the Threshold.
A 12-week somatic journey for women moving through the liminal space between who they've been and who they're becoming.
You don't have to cross alone.
Bring your grief.
Bring your uncertainty.
Bring the parts of you that are ready to be shed.
I'll bring the lantern.
This is for…
-

The Pragmatically Positive
You are excited and a little scared about change, but you are ready to do it anyway. You are aware that something in you needs to shift. You are motivated and want to transform from your core, not just your head.
-

The Ones Sensing Change
You are navigating grief, identity shifts, career transitions, caregiving, divorce, illness, loss, or the feeling that an old version of yourself is dying.
-

The Empowered
You don’t need ‘healing’ but desire to move from:
Overwhelm → Grounded regulation
Surviving → Embodied choice
Identity confusion → Inner clarity
Carrying grief alone → Integrating it with support
Fearing change → Trusting the threshold
